ORDINATION TO THE PRIESTHOOD 2017

On the Feast of the Annunciation, 25 March 2017, that day that our Blessed Lady first said YES to her vocation, two Greyfriars of the Provincial Custody of Blessed Agnellus of Pisa, continued the journey of their YES to the Fraternity and the Church embracing the Order of Presbyter.
His Grace, Archbishop Kevin McDonald, Archbishop Emeritus of Southwark led the celebration at the Greyfriars Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Mossley Hill, Liverpool. Father Maximilian, being from England, and Father Rory being from Ireland, brought Friars, Family, and Friends from all over Great Britain, Ireland, and the world!
The parish choir was joined by some of the students in formation while servers from the parish and friars assisted the 25 priests con-celebrating with the people of God.
A buffet luncheon was served after the Mass, and the guests left throughout the afternoon to return home, some rather great distances.
