Solemn Profession of Friar Peter George, Friar John Paul, and Friar Terence Bateman

At the St. Anthony of Padua Church (Mossley Hill, Liverpool) on Friday, December 30, 2022, the Feast of The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph: Friar Terence Bateman OFM Conv., Friar John Paul OFM Conv. and Friar Peter George OFM Conv. made their Solemn Profession at the hands of their Provincial Custos Friar Maximilian Martin, OFM Conv. who also served as the celebrant for the Mass.

The friars were joined by The Vicar Provincial Fr. Gary Johnson, OFM Conv who travelled from USA to Liverpool, England to concelebrate the Mass and share in the celebration of the Solemn Profession. Also in attendance were parishioners, family, and members of other religious communities who serve and learn with and teaches our friars at the Oxford House of Studies – Blackfriars Studium.
