Great Britain-Ireland: Custodial Chapter

From September 4-8, 2017, the friars of the Provincial Custody of Blessed Agnellus of Pisa in Great Britain-Ireland held the first part of their Ordinary Custodial Chapter at the Hayes Conference Centre in Alfreton, England.
Twenty-six friars were present including Friar James MCCURRY, the Minister Provincial of the Mother Province of Our Lady of the Angels (USA), and Friar Jude WINKLER, the Assistant General for the Conventual Franciscan Federation (CFF).
Friar Ciprian BUDĂU was elected as the Custos, Friar Maximilian McKEOWN as the Vicar Custos, Friar Jesmond PAWLEY as the Custodial Secretary and Friars Dariusz DAWIDOWSKI and James Mary McINERNEY as Custodial Definitors. Friar Rory DOYLE was chosen as the Custodial Econom and Friar Giles ZAKOWICZ as the Formation Director at the friary in Oxford.
The second part of the Chapter will be held at the same center, beginning on September 18, 2017.
