Ordination of Friar Benedict Abugu

On Saturday, 27th of April 2019, the eve of Divine Mercy Sunday, before the worshipping community, family and friends, Friar Benedict Abugu was ordained to the Sacred Order of Priesthood, at the hands of most Reverend Mitchel T. Rozanski, Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield, Massachusetts, at the Basilica of Saint Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr. Massachusetts, USA.
The next day, 28th April, on the solemnity of Divine mercy, Friar Benedict Abugu celebrated his first Solemn Mass at his family parish- Good Shepherd parish, New Jersey, concelebrated by the Minister Provincial- Fr James McCurry and Fr.Edward Ondrako. Friar Benedict is presently working at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Liverpool. We wish him well, God's continuous blessings and grace as he serves the Lord in his People-the vineyard.
